Tellus Group has been successfully providing quality educational services since 2003, and through Plymouth English Centre and Meridian English for over 20 years. Operating our English language schools in Plymouth and Portsmouth (under the brand of Meridian School of English) has taught us how important and how much more effective language training can be when conducted in the country where it is spoken. Combining intensive courses with host family accommodation, work experience and cultural activities (excursions, workshops, cultural events, etc.) has resulted in the creation of a highly successful educational scheme.

We know how to choose our partners. Almost ten years of successful work with European Union Lifelong Learning Programmes has resulted in the development of tested and proven methods of assessment and the establishment of networks of international partners we are proud to work with.

Many years of providing educational services for overseas students wishing to come to the UK to study the language and learn about the British culture, has made us fully aware of the importance of such schemes in young people's lives. In effect, since 2008, we have been offering language courses abroad to all those wishing to learn languages other than English (French, Spanish, German and Italian) in the countries where these languages are spoken.

Our language schools are recognised by the most important accrediting bodies: Instituto Cervantes in Spain, FLE Qualite in France, British Council in England, ASILS in Italy and IALC and EAQUALS internationally. Many hold international awards (i.e. LTM Star Awards for: The Best French Language School and The Best Italian Language School).

All the teachers delivering language courses in France, England, Spain, Italy and Germany are highly qualified and experienced in teaching their respective languages.
