I had a very nice experience with my host family. I lived in a two bedroom flat with a big balcony just opposite the school and very central. I had a nice single room. My ‘host mum’ was single. She also had one cute cat. She was very friendly. She was shopping with me, cooking for me, she showed me the city centre and shops. On one night we dined outside. She was really caring. She couldn't speak English so I was forced to speak Spanish with her and at school all the time. It was great because it helped me to improve my Spanish.

"My experience has been very positive. I have met a variety of people from different countries and I have learned a lot from my teachers who are very good and polite. On top of all that, San Sebastian is a very beautiful city where it has been easy to practice Spanish because the locals speak very clearly despite the fact many of them also speak Euskera"
